Here are some messages with ideas from some of the Leighswood Group....they are brilliant ideas....




Hello Peter,

The ten year old children could whisper there story in to the tigers mouth and then it closes and the tiger tells the children the story they just told it, a bit like a computer.



I have an idea for the objects like a cigar and that sort of things. What they might of had in the old Korea times. Hula hoops, kites, marbles.



I have a story that I have thought of its about squirrel lives in a tree but he or she picks up a nut and becomes half squirrel and half tiger. I also have another story about a tiger is born but scratched by a werewolf so when the tiger grows up he or she acts like a werewolf.

They could of eaten rhubarb, heat up custed by using a fire, potatoes, carrots and crops.

Hi Peter



I am having a great time discussing ideas for the Once Upon A Tiger. I think that it's a really fun thing to do and I am really glad that I can do it, even if it means getting up at quarter past seven instead of quarter to eight as normal!

I know that our ideas will be featured in the play and it will probably feel good if we know that we actually played a part in thinking of the ideas to make the play build up.

Here is a few of my ideas for when and how the tree is to be featured .



Talking of at the last get - together in the Y6 area when we talked about the tree being in danger of getting cut down, maybe the tiger that was made into the rug had been killed near to the tree, and maybe the tree is famous because of that, so they might be very protective and supportive to the tree because of its past.



Maybe the tree had always been played in, as in children's great - great - great - great - grandmothers had played in a hollow part of the tree that they called the treehouse, so they could be very indignant about the tree being cut down. The children could never be bored of playing there and they didn't want it to go.

Hello Peter,



I had a great time sharing ideas for the Once Upon a tiger



I'm looking forward to coming to the rest of the sessions on friday I hope all of our ideas feature in the play.And hopefully our play will become famous worldwide



I think the old tree that the children found would be great to star in the play.The tree could hold memories from how the tiger was killed or one of his relatives was killed.And that could be why the tiger was crying.

Or maybe that tree could be special to the tiger like if he was being attacked by another tiger then when he climbed up the tree and the other tiger couldn't get up so it saved his/her life.





I hope you will take an interest in my ideas and maybe feature them in the play. I think the project is very good and the play will be very interesting.

I found a tree with about 250 branches



I think it was a oak tree or mabe a horsechest nut tree so they must be the bigest trees in the world. I did find 2 really big trees on the internet , twise the sise of a fully grown humen and it shows you that because there is a person on the picture. Most the trees i've seen are realy old.

We were talking about trees my favorite tree is the Horesechest nut tree or the conker tree.About the tiger rug I taught that the tiger could get hunted and then it could tell the story of the tiger live where he got shipped and were he adventure in the other contany like fun times like jumping out of trees .

Last session was really good and I wonder what i missed!? The koreans ideas sound really good and I have an idea for the tree!!! I think that the tree could have been there for many, many years and tourist come from all over the world to see it so they dont want it cut down. That is the idea that i thought of while we have not been in a session. I hope you think this is a good idea.

I have got an idea fore the story!!!!!! The tree might have been alive and saved the vilage! But they are pleading for him to be woken The main city is going to distroy the vilage
